1. Movement
I like to start every day with some sort of movement. It can be an hour of weight training or a simple 20 min fast walk. Exercise always boosts my mood and immediately makes my day better.
2. Guided Meditation
I love doing a guided meditation before I fall sleep. The Calm app has awesome ones, I particularly like the daily jay.
3. Greens with Every Meal
I try to include greens in all of my meals. Breakfast could be eggs with spinach or a green juice, lunch would be a big green salad with veggies and chicken, dinner can be zucchini noodles with bolognese or cauliflower rice with salmon.
4. Hydration
Staying hydrated is one of the biggest keys to good health. I aim for 2-3L of water and love to infuse my water with ginger, lemon and mint.
5. Daily Joy
Do something that makes you happy. For me this would look like cooking a healthy meal for a loved one, dancing to my favorite song, taking a bath or spending time with people who uplift me!
