Alzheimer's, Fasting & Brain Health

Biohack the World is back together with Daily Dose with a very special event covering all things Brain Health! We’re joined by none other than the pioneer in Alzheimer’s prevention research, Dr. Richard Isaacson.

News flash: Neurodegenerative conditions, including dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease, are preventable and not a normal part of aging. In the past few decades, advances in science and medicine have made it possible to understand when and where Alzheimer’s starts and what we can do to effectively stave off cognitive decline.

Does it start in the brain? Or the gut? Does how you eat in your 20’s and 30’s affect your risk for developing Alzheimer’s in the later stages of life? How can fasting (i.e. fast-mimicking, intermittent fasting, time-restricted feeding), exercise, and sleep keep us sharp?
